Earl Elsworth King, 77, retired farmer of New Bloomington, died early today at home. He was a native of Marion County.
Born July 22, 1880, he was a son of George J. and Anna M. Alkire King. In 1951 at Indianapolis, IN, he married Della Foos. He was a member of Marion Lodge 70, F&AM, and he was a 32nd degree Mason.
Surviving are his widow and his sister, Mrs. Florence Rhoads of near Marion. A brother, James M. King, and another sister, Mrs. Clara Moberly, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Lucas Funeral Home at Morral. The Rev. Irvin W. Emmons of First Presbyterian Church in Marion will officiate. Burial will be in Agosta Cemetery.
