OBITUARY
Funeral services for Howard CHAFFIN, 51, were held in the Central Baptist Church in Canadian with the burial in the Canadian Cemetery directed by Stickley Funeral Home. The Rev. Vernon Cline, pastor, officiated.
Mr. CHAFFIN died July 20, 1970 at his home after suffering a heart attack.
He was born in Tulsa County, Oklahoma and had lived in the Canadian area most of his life. He was employed as a plasterer, and had been a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his widow, Wanda; three sons, Jimmy, Don and Larry, all of Canadian; three daughters, Carol, Donna and Charlene, all of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille OLIVER and Mrs. Madell SPRUELL, both of Canadian, and Mrs. Mildred THRASHER, of Pampa and Mrs. Frankie WINDER of Tyler and two grandchildren.
