News has just come to town that Mrs. Keasling is dead. She is the widow of Jacob Keasling, who died some years ago. She lived with her daughter, Mrs. James Smithart. She must have been somewhere in the eightys of age.
Grandma Keasling died very sudden at her son's Alf Keasling, over near Haysville last Friday night.
The funeral of Mrs. Keasling was held at the Holiness Church, northwest of Ollie, conducted by Rev. Herman and interment in the Ollie Cemetery.
Mrs. C.J. Martin of Knox, North Dakota, was called to Haysville on Friday on the account of the death of her Mother, Mrs. Keasling. Keokuk County News, March 27, 1913
