Dale E. Amox, age 53, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 12:45 p.m. at his residence in Scott.
Interment will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Inc. in Natchez, Mississippi.

Mr. Amox was a native of Vidalia, LA and a resident of the Lafayette area for the past seventeen years. He was employed with Boco, Inc. for six years.

Survivors include his wife, Kati Newman, of Scott; one son, Clifton Dale Amox of Arnaudville; one daughter, Lindsey Marie Amox and her companion, Jeremy Champagne, of Arnaudville; two brothers, Jim Amox and his companion, Cici, of Columbia, TX and Harlen Amox and his wife, Darlene, of Snyder, TX; two sisters, Gayle Cowan and her husband, Dale, of Ridgecrest, LA, Nancy Halford and her husband, Kenny, of Vidalia; and one granddaughter, Madison Angelle Champagne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Clifton Amox and the former Helen Jennette Kelly; and one sister, Glenis Amox.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue was is in charge of arrangements.
