Lamar A. Heyer
Lamar A Heyer, 55, of Lavelle, died Friday at the Veterans' Administration Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, where he had been admitted Tuesday.
Mr. Heyer was born February 15, 1922, in Colorado and was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Welker) Heyer. He had been employed as a laborer. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Lavelle Fire Company. He was a World War II veteran.
He was married May 5 1945 at Ashland to the former Irene Herring who survives.
Also surviving are four brothers, Delbert and Charles both of Lavelle, Harold, of Telford and Robert, of Sellerville; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Fey, of Lavelle, and Geraldine, wife of Warren Eister, of Perkasie.
Services will be held Monday morning from the Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD Klingerstown, with the Rev Abram E. Rhoads, pastor of St Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul's E.C. Church Cemetery, Pitman.
