Alexander Brown Fulkrod, 73, of 343 Cemetery Street, Jersey Shore, a retired NYC Railroad car shop employee, was found dead Thursday beside his automobile parked on the fireman's plot on Seminary Street in that borough. Dr. Clarence R martin, coroner, pronounced death as self-inflicted and said there would be no inquest.

Mr. Fulkrod with a discharged shotgun nearby was found about 6:30 in the morning by men walking past the plot on the way to work. Mr. Fulkrod who had been in ill health drove his car to the lot sometime in the night. His wife returned from the hospital a few days ago, she had undergone surgery.

Born Mar 30,1979 near Jersey Shore, he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Agnes, two daughters Mrs. Malcolm Bierly and Mrs. Leon Bullock jersey Shore and a brother James of Jersey Shore.
