Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Keith and husband, Tom, Arma, Kansas; two grandsons, Doug Shepherd and Shane Shepherd and wife, Candi; and two great-grandchildren Caedence and Zachary Shepherd. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack McCoy and four sisters, Kathryn Main, Ivan Herrin, Juanita McCoy and Emma Dell McCoy.
Pastor Mansour Khajehpour will conduct graveside services for Doris Cole at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at the Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Fort Scott Public Library and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S.
