She is the daughter of Johann Nikolaus "John" and Anna Corina Maria "Mary" (Seipel) Loehr. She is the wife of Adam Yockel.

Aged 97.2 years

The 1920 census shows that Elisabeth, a widow, had gone to live with her daughter, Emma, and Emma's husband, Fredrick Hilgenfeld, in South Roswell, Chaves County, New Mexico.

A handwritten obituary sent by Alis Christensen, a daughter of Elisabeth's daughter, Sarah Wilhelmina Yockel [Smallwood] Harrington, is as follows:

"Elisabeth F. Loehr Yockel, widow of Rev. Adam Yockel, was born in Clayton, Jefferson Co., New York - Nov. 29, 1837 - Feb. 8, '35 - living to the ripe old age of 97 years.

"On May 3 - 1857 she was married to Rev. A. Yockel, who preceeded her in 1894. To this union 10 children were born, 5 of whom have passed on. She was converted at 20 years of age, and has lived a consistent Christian life.

"For the last 11 years she has made her home with her daughter, Laura, now living near El Dorado Springs."
