Mr. Duryea died Wednesday, July 2, 2003. Born in Patterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Raymond and Wilhemina DeYoung Duryea. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church, Walt Farrar Bible Class, Sanctuary Choir, Keenagers, Park Street Bowlers, Columbia Dirtdobbers Camping Club, past master of Hawthorne-Fortitude Lodge #200, F&A.M. in Ramsey, NJ.
He is survived by his wife, Yoma Stokes Duryea of Columbia; children, Carol Duryea of Cranberry, NJ, Sue Roberts of Belcamp, MD, Bruce Duryea of Woodbridge, NJ, Alan Duryea, of Belcamp, MD; stepchildren, Libby Moore of Chapin, SC, Andy Stokes of Columbia, SC, Annice Harrelson of Matthews, NC; six grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and sister, Edith Simmons of Terryville, KY.
