CALDWELL — Services for Lois Pearl Stahn, 77, Route 4, Caldwell, who died Monday at a Mountain Home hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Caldwell Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop William A. Norman. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She was born Aug. 21, 1898, in Newton, Utah. She was educated in Utah. She worked for Damdurger Coal Co., and the phone company in Salt Lake City. She moved with her parents to Jackson Hole, Wyo., and lived in Curtis Canyon, Wyo. She married Chester Sylvester Stahn in 1925 at Jackson Hole. They ranched northeast of Grovant, Wyo. in 1942, they moved to Riverton, Wyo., where they farmed. In 1947 they moved to Butterfield, Utah. They moved to Caldwell and purchased a farm. He died March 22, 1974.
She was a member of the LDS Church, the Relief Society, Lake Lowell Ladles Club and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Surviving are three sons, Chester C., Bruneau, Vernon L., Nampa and Roy Caldwell; three sisters, Jean Johnson, Salt Lake City, Hazel Dalley, Riverton, Wyo., and Leatha Seaton, Dubouis, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
