Mrs. Nellie K. Fisher, 80, Remington, Dies
Mrs. Nellie K. Fisher, 80, Remington, died Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Joseph hospital, Logansport, where she had been a patient for some time.
Born near Sheldon, Ill., she was married to Lee Fisher in 1903. He died in 1950.
Surviving are three sons, Floyd of Remington, who made his home with his mother, Charles of Route 2, Remington, and Earl of Rensselaer; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Peters of Logansport, Mrs. Gladys Butters of Watseka, Ill., and Mrs. Dorothy Riley of Gary; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Howard funeral chapel, Remington, at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Herbert Osman of the Remington Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Remington cemetery.
