Albert C. Blakeslee, Portville died Sunday, September 27, 1970 at the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, Pa. after a long illness.
A life-long resident of Portville, he was born November 22, 1877, a son of Aaron and Julia Newell Blakeslee. His wife, the former Maude Hatch, died in 1958.
He was a member of the Portville Presbyterian Church, and had been associated in lumbering industries in this area until his retirement.
Surviving are three sons, one of whom is Ernest Blakeslee of Cuba; two daughters; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren
and one great-greatgrandchild.
Services are being held at the Guenther Funeral Home this afternoon (Wednesday), conducted by the Rev John Shepard of Portville. Burial is in
Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.
