Oliver Winfred Harbison, Sr. Oliver Winfred Harbison, Sr. of Austin, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the age of 92. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and great-grandfather. A WWII veteran, Winfred was a graduate of UT, and was later an employee of the US Postal Service until his retirement. He was an active deacon in his church, Past Master of Lexington Lodge # 138, and Past Patron of Capitol and Lexington Chapters, OES. He is survived by his Wife, Myrtice Harbison, of 68 years; brother, Alton Harbison; children, Sandra Kay Dismukes, Oliver W. Harbison Jr., and Glenn C. Harbison; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held at Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the funeral service at Knobbs Springs Baptist Church in McDade, Texas on Monday at 1:00 p.m.
