Clora E. Ebert, 84, of Gilman, IL., formerly of Onarga, IL., died at 10:50 A.M., Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Gilman Health Care Center, Gilman. Her funeral service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman with Rev. Elizabeth Reis officiating. Burial will be in Onarga Cemetery, Onarga. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Redenius Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice. Clora was born on December 5, 1925 in Thompkinsville, Kentucky to Flona & Lola (Bray) Thomas. Her childhood was spent in Kentucky and Illinois. She married Donald George Ebert on October 28, 1945 in St. Charles, Missouri. He died in July 12, 1984. Survivors include - two daughters - Linda (Ronald) Scharp and Donna Higginson all of Onarga. Two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Four great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. Pre-decedents - her parents, husband, daughter - Becky Hawkins, grandson - Jeff Scharp and son-in-law - Andy Higginson. Clora was a member of the United Methodist Church in Onarga, IL.
