He was employed as an engineer for Stewart Warner for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W.II in the South Pacific and attained the rank of First Lieutenant. He was a member of the American Legion; Speedway, and a member of the West Morris St. Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Colvin Sutton, stepson Steve Cassady, grandchildren Adam S. & Patrick C. Cassady, great grandchild Samuel A. Cassady, and sisters; Carol (Burnell) Barnett & Rosalind Smith.
