Myrtle Hannie, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Carroll Springs Cemetery, Athens. Visitation: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to service.

Myrtle was born June 3, 1921, in Carroll Springs to Jap and Lola Lambright.

She was a member of Richland Hills Christian Church.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Hannie; son, Greg Hannie; and her sister, Ottie Motl.

Survivors: Daughter, Sherrill L. Bruce and husband, Thomas; son, Bill Hannie and wife, Marge; sisters, Ann Jordan and husband, Joe, Faye Reznick; grandchildren, Angel, Marilea, Scott, Danny, Weldon, Tommy, Beau, Kevin and Kerri; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
