Ruth Ann McKinley Braune, 72, of Springboro, Ohio, formerly of Delphi, died June 26, 2003, in Hospice of Dayton. She had cancer for several years.
Born in Hardinsburg on April 30, 1931, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary Wiseman McKinley. She grew up in the Delphi area and graduated from Delphi High School in 1949.
She was a 1953 graduate of Indiana University, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration.
She married Joseph Braune in Delphi, and he survives.
Mrs. Braune was a homemaker, and a member of Sycamore Creek Country Club, Dayton Women's Club and Dayton Duplicate Bridge Club.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Max Braune of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Becca Kozlowski of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Betty Cripe of Delphi and Sarah Lewis of Rockford, Ill.; a brother, Jim McKinley of Terre Haute; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were July 1 at Masonic Cemetery in Delphi. Father Michael McKinley officiated. Abbott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
