Grace Davis, 83, rural Shevlin, died Tuesday, May 29 at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Clearwater Lutheran Church at Shevlin with Pastor Rober Rotvold officiating. Burial will be in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
She was born August 25, 1899 at Lawton, North Dakota, the daughter of Alson and Hannah Humes. She was baptized and confirmed in teh Lutheran faith.
She married John M. Davis on February 10, 1920. They moved to Shevlin, settling in Moose Creek Township in 1932. Mr. Davis died on November 17, 1952.
For the past four months, she has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center at Clearbrook.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Clearwater Lutheran Church of Shevlin. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Keno (Evelyn) Irizarry of Corteret, New Jersey, Mrs. Alvin (Elenora) Paulson of Shevlin and Mrs. Herbert (Doris) Pircey of Peoria, Illinois; three sons, Gordon of Shevlin, Norman of Moorhead and Richard of Iron, Minnesota.
She is also survived by one brother Leonard Humes in Oregon; 22 grandchidren; 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother and one grandchild.
