World Bantamweight Champion. Became professional boxer in 1916, and won title from Pete Herman in 1920. He lost it back to Herman the following year. Herman lost the title to Jimmy Buff and Lynch took it away from him in 14 rounds on July 10, 1922. Lynch lost the championship to Abe Goldstein in 1924, and then retired. During the 10 years he fought, he had 119 bouts. He won 42 of them, 29 by knockout, lost 13, and fought 64 "no decisions."
