Myrtice Lorene Harbison Myrtice Lorene Harbison passed away peacefully Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born in Burkburnett, Texas on July 30, 1922 to I.G. and Lestie Hollingworth. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Oliver Winfred Harbison, Sr. She leaves behind a daughter, Sandra Dismukes (Bob), and sons Oliver W. Harbison, Jr. (Sharon) and Glenn C. Harbison (Myra), eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Knobbs Springs Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of Capital Chapter and Lexington Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She will always be remembered best as "the little woman with a big heart". The family would like to thank the staff at Gracy Woods I for their loving care. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home 607 East Anderson Lane Austin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Knobbs Springs Baptist Church 1662 CR 305, McDade, Texas with Interment to follow at Knobbs Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Knobbs Springs Baptist Church 1662 CR 305, McDade, Texas, or a charity of your choice.
