Mrs. Esther Eliza Hyde was born July 18, 1852 near Bushnell, North Carolina and departed this life, February 2, 1940 at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 15 days.
She was united in Marriage with Thomas M. Hyde in the year 1877. To this union 8 children were born all of which are living at the present except one son who died in 1909.
She united with the Baptist church at an early age and lived a devoted Christian life until her death.
Those left to mourn her death are one son, Phillip M. Hyde of Pawhuska, Mrs. Mary Brown of Glover, Mrs. F.A. Dill of Geary, Mrs. R.L. Jester of Springhill, Louisiana, Mrs. C.F. Doke of El Reno, Mrs. Bert Goble of Cogar, Mrs. D.B. Goble of Minco, one sister of Cogar and three brothers, thirty five grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Children:
