Mrs. Belle Stapleton, age 65, wife of William Stapleton, Dayton, O., died Friday night of a heart attack. Formerly of Hamilton, Mrs. Stapleton had resided in Dayton for 30 years. She leaves the widower, William Stapleton; one grandson, Marcus Bainter, Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. John Oldiges and Mrs. Don Turvey, both of Hamilton; and six brothers, Guy, Howard, Dewey, and Don Frybarger, all of Hamilton, Raymond Frybarger, Toledo, and Charles Frybarger, Dayton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Colligan funeral home, 437 South Third street, with burial in Greenwood. Friends may call after 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.

Belle Clare Frybarger was the oldest daughter and second oldest child of Daniel Ambrose and Mary Elizabeth Brummett Frybarger. She was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee ca. 1877 and married Edward C. Hoffman in Butler County, Ohio on September 24, 1896 (Marriage Book #6 Page #392). He died from pneumonia on February 8, 1905 and was buried at Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio in Greenwood Cemetery (Interment #12357). Belle remarried on December 19, 1905 to William Stapleton in Butler County, Ohio (Marriage Book #10 Page #302). According to Greenwood Cemetery records, Belle died on March 2, 1945 and was buried on March 7, 1945 next to Edward Hoffman, but she doesn’t have a grave marker.
