Betty Fay Blaylock, 49, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 24, 1960. She was a former employee of Steak Escape at The Mall at Barnes Crossing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Paul Reynolds and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include her mother, Vernie Blaylock of Mantachie; six brothers, Ray Blaylock of Fulton, Wayne (Denise) Blaylock and Billy (Fay) Blaylock, both of Tupelo, and Olen (Marilyn) Blaylock, Douglas Blaylock and Bobby Blaylock, all of Mantachie; three sisters, Barbara Reynolds of Mantachie, Wanda (Jimmy) Dill of Mooreville and Peggy Bailey of Tupelo; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, B.M. Blaylock, and a brother-in-law, Dale Reynolds.

Pallbearers will be David Kemp, Jon Campbell, David Williams, Tommy Jackson, Nelson McMillan, Tony Dabbs, Chris Blaylock and Josh Blaylock. Larry Gentry will serve as honorary pallbearer.
