Terrell, Dec. 26th - Mrs. Callile Shankle, an old citizen of Scurry died here of la grippe.
Age 66 years. Terrell Tribune, Dec. 28, 1899. Callie's husband, W. H. Shankles was married 2x's, had 10 children by first wife and 12 by Callie. He and 15 of his children are buried here, all unmarked.
