Rites are set
Services for Mrs. Lillian Michelson, 64, Mori-Mi Apartments, will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Roth Funeral Home.
Rabbi Anthony Holtz will officiate assisted by Dr. John Wood. Burial will be in Temple Israel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nat Baskin, Elliott Baskin, Bernard Baskin, Irv Tick, Bernard Stiller and Dave Gold.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Merle Fowler, Dr. Wally Montgomery, Dr. Ben Bradford, Dr. J. E. Dunn, Dr. Martin Abelopp and H. L. Brown.
Mrs. Michelson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lookofsky, died Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital. A native of Paducah, she was a member of Temple Israel and the sisterhood of the temple and began the Reach to Recovery Chapter in 1969.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Michelson; two sons, Simon Michelson and Louis Michelson, both of Paducah; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Orloff, Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Leo Lookofsky, Los Angeles, Calif., and Ben Lookofsky, Louisville; one sister, Mrs. Dottie Glasser, Paducah, and three grandchildren.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
