Klich, James Lawrence
Age 62, of N. Canton
Passed away Monday evening in Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn following an extended illness. Born in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Lawrence S. and Olive B. (Zurek) Klich; and was a N. Canton resident since 1978. He was a graduate of Case Institute of Technology, Case Western Reserve University and retired from J & L Specialty Steel working 10 years at the Cleveland plant and 26 years at the Louisville plant. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, N. Canton, where he served as a Lector, a Eucharistic Minister and taught CCD. In his professional career his memberships include ASTM, AISI and ASM. Jim was known for his accordion playing and he played for various nursing homes and hospitals as well as participated in Community Theater for over 20 years. He also was a member of the Closet Accordion Players of America, Hall of Fame Entertainers, Polish American Heritage Group, the Catholic Consortium and a board member of the Hamilton Forum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Lawrence J. Klich. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen L. (McCoy) Klich; daughters: Laura S. (Sam) Henderson of Gulf Port, FL, Jennifer K. Klich of Myrtle Beach, SC, Susanne M. Klich of Columbus, OH, Kellie A. (David) Sues of Chapin, SC; step-son, Jonathan S. Ewing of N. Canton, OH; step-daughter, Ashley K. (Billy) Redieck of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren: Brenna, Kailey and Izabelle.
