Peter HENDERSON, a widely known citizen and a good man died at his home near Oliver's Schoolhouse, Wednesday, after a long illness from dropsy and Brights disease, aged 49 years, 10 months and 5 days. Deceased leaves a wife and three children and a circle of friends circumscribed only by the limits of his acquaintanceship. The funeral was held at Mt. Olive church, of which deceased was a member, Thursday, conducted by Rev. ROSS and interment was made in the Oliver cemetery. (Current name Mount Olive Cemetery)

Row 17: Buried near Peter is the grave of Henry Henderson whom I believe to be Peter's brother, or close relative. Henry Henderson is my gr-grandfather who emigrated from Fleusburg, Germany. After arriving in Fulton Co., IN, he traveled to Bald Knob, White Co., AR; met/married Elizabeth 'Betty' Bohley Emde, originally from Greene Co., IN; had my grandfather, Wm. Henry Henderson. After the death of her father Frederick Bohley in AR, she, her little family & her mother, Lucinda, moved back to IN; living in Liberty Township, Fulton Co. near Peter. Another son, John Albert, was born.
