Willard A. Dick
Willard A. DICK, 88, R.R. 5, Rochester, died Thursday at 3:45 p.m. in the Miller nursing home here, where he had been a patient since Monday.
A retired farmer, he was born July 14, 1875, near Winamac, the son of Albert and Suzanna GALBREATH DICK. He has been a resident of Newcastle township 50 years. His marriage was Dec. 17, 1898, at Royal Center to Minnie Van BLARICON, who died in 1939.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys COBLE, Huntington, and Mrs. Oliver (Jane) KALMBACHER, of near Talma; two sons, Carl [DICK], Niles, Mich, and Roy [DICK], R.R. 5, Rochester; eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. One sister preceded in death.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. John KREIG officiating. Burial will be in the Hamlet cemetery near Talma. Friends may call at the funeral home.
