Winnie Gertrude Kring was born June 26,1897 in Hunt County Texas to William Franklin Strickland and Naomi Nation. On November 22,1914 she married Duard Arnold Herod in Throckmorton Texas. This marriage ended in divorce and she later married Pat Kring and made her home in Denver, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by one son Leonard in 1917 and two daughters Ollie and Lottie in 1918 and her brother Hermon Eugene Strickland
Survivors include her husband Pat Kring of Denver Co; One daughter Laverle Jordan of Pontiac MI; three sons, James Claude Herod of Fort Worth Tx, Douglas Arnold Herod of Oakland Ca, And Glenn Ray Herod of Lubbock Tx; fifteen Grandchildren and her sister Wrethey Golleher
Services where held 11:00am Monday March 4, 1957 at Howard Mortuary, Denver Colorado. Mr. Herbert Fraser from Aurora Church of Christ officiating. Music by Sherman Street Church of Christ.
