New Rochelle.---The contest over the will of George Govers, Sr., was before Surrogate O.F. Coffin at White Plains yesterday, in a suit to break the probate of the will, made in 1881, by which he left his estate, valued at $50,000. to his second wife, Anna, cutting off the claims of his 7 children by his first wife. Mr. Govers died in 1885 and the second wife died about a year afterward, and while the contest of the will of Mr. Govers was going on the second wife maded a will, bequeathing all the property to her sister, Mrs. Bridget Carney, of Boston, who has brought a suit against Edward Govers, a son of Mr. Govers, sr. by the first wife, to obtain possession of the property.
