Funeral services for Wilfred Anderson, 42, were conducted from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 26 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Edward Ballard and Bro. Charles Maxwell officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died July 24 after an extended illness. A native of Jackson county, he was the son of Leonard Anderson and Alma Mae (Chaffin) Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosie (Ballard) Anderson of Cookeville; one son, Gary Anderson of Detroit, MI; his mother, Mrs. Alma Mae Anderson of Gainesboro; and one sister, Mrs. Wilma Ballard of Gainesboro.
