I do have that he was interred on April 6th 1924. I assume, somewhere in Manhattan.

John Klink Jr. (Actually John the III. was employed as a butcher in Buffalo, NY with his family.

He met and married Bertha Fischer (or Fisher) on 9/25/1901 at St. Stephan's Church, Buffalo, NY. Bertha was born 1/9/1877 in Ferntnier, France.

8 yrs before his death, he went to NY City. He operated some of the first taxicabs in NY and was a chaufferu for rich people.

He reportedly was also in the 1906 California earthquake.

John died of bronchial asthma and weak heart, he was cremated at Fresh Pond Crematory, NYC, NY. I do not know if his ashes were buried or scattered or kept.
They had no children.

He lived in Buffalo, NY, then 15 W. 10th St. NYC,NY

1880 Census: he was 10 yrs old, living at home with his parents.

1900 Census: He was 30 yrs old living at home with his parents.

1901 he got married.

1910 Census: Manhattan, ward 12, looks like LEccox Avenue.
John is 40, Bertha is 32 and had immigrated in 1898.
Pauline Fisher (her sister is living with them, age 23 and was from France.
Also living with them is a Raymond Beckman, a boarder who is 33 from France, a cook for a hotel. (he is imortant for later).

1920 Census: Manhattan done on 1/17/1920. West 110th Street House #15-19:
John is 50 and a chauffer. Bertha is 42, immigrated 1898 and is Naturized. They rent.

1930 Census: (He had died in 1924). I found Bertha living with her sister Pauline and Raymond Bachman who is a Butcher. They live on 6040 Huxley Avenue. They rent for $120 and they have a radio.

I cannot find Bertha's parents.
