VANLUE -- Larry Wayne Broadwater, 59, of Vanlue, OH, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
He was born Tuesday, October 23, 1951 in Wyandot County, OH, son of the late Earl S. and Opal A. (Crew) Broadwater. He married Cynthia L. Pilmore on November 1, 1997 at Ridge Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She survives in Vanlue.
Also surviving are his children: Danielle D. Sheets, Luke N. Sheets, Clarissa O. Broadwater, at home. Two grandchildren: Caden & Angel Sheets. Two sisters: Karen (Ronnie) Griffin, Fostoria, OH, Sharon (Roger) Thomas, Findlay, two brothers: Earl (Phyllis) Broadwater, Kansas, OH, Mike (Gloria) Broadwater, Risingsun, OH.
Larry was a truck driver, last working for Bowling Transportation, Fostoria.
He was a member of Findlay First Church of the Nazarene, Findlay. He was a 1971 graduate of Carey High School.
He was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Former member of the VFW #3759 in Carey. He was a retired Fireman of the Carey Fire Dept. for 12 years.
Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. p.m. Friday, December 3 at the STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, Carey.
Funeral Services will be held at Findlay First Church of Nazarene, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mike McClurg officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, OH 43316.
