Notes: Edward A. Brdun. Services for Edward A. Braun, former Lorain mayor and banker, will be Monday at a time and place to be announced. He died yesterday in his home, 429 Fourth Street, Lorain. He was 92. Mr. Braun was Lorain mayor from 1934 to 1938, after more than 50 years as a banker. He began as a teller in the First National Bank, organized the National Bank of Commerce and finally was associated with the Lorain City Savings Bank, until 1932. A lifelong Lorain resident, he had been a councilman and volunteer fireman before his election as mayor. He has also been a trustee of Sheffield Township. Surviving him are a son, Read Adm. Boynton Braun, USN, rtd., and a daughter, Miss Helen C. Braun. The Walter A. Frey funeral home, 700 W. Eric Street, Lorain, is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
