She was dieing of TB and they traveled West for better climate. They got as far as Red River and she stated she wanted to die at home so Thomas and the younger children took the train back and left the two sons to drive the gagon and buggy back to Tecumseh farm. Where she die there shortly after. My grandfather was 7 years old drove the buggy and his brother Bertie drove the team of horses and wagon back.
