Squire Bruton Williams, 83, of Town Branch Apartments, Huntsville, Ark., died Oct. 29, 1993 at Meadowview Lodge Nursing Home in Huntsville. He was born Nov. 14, 1909, at Boston, Ark., the of John Franklin and Susan Jane Skelton Williams. He was a retired custodian for the University Arkansas at Fayetteville, and a member of the Christian Union Church. He was preceded in death his wives; Mrs. Nannie Neff Williams in 1933, and Mrs. Alpha Steele Williams in 1992. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Joie Williams of Hindsville; one gran and granddaughter-in-law, Jeff and Tam Williams of Hindsville; one granddaughter and grandson law, Valerie and Thomas Willcut of Fayetteville; two great-granddaughters, Miss Maggie Leigh Williams and Miss Jo Beth Williams, both of Hindsville; one sister, Mrs. Rosie Collins of Fayetteville. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Limon Carney and Bro. Merrill Smith officiating. Interment was in the Williams Cemetery at Dri Springs under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jeff Williams, Thomas Willcut, Fletcher Williams, David Schaefer, Ben Collins, Charlie Thurston. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Paul Steele, Clayton Cornett, and Boyd Steele.
