Georgianne Catherine Brown, 86, of Danville passed away at 10:41 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman.
She was born Feb. 29, 1924 in Danville to George F. and Dora E. Anders Zillman. She married Willard "Jack" Harris. He preceded her in death. She later married Marion "Ray" Brown on June 26, 1967 in Covington, Indiana. He preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Orville and Orrin Zillman, and sister Dorothy Scarlett.
She is survived by two sons, Jon Harris of Shelbyville and Chris (Jenna) Brown of Danville; three daughters, Jeanine (Mark) Gruetze of Cranberry Township, Pa., Carol Harris of Danville and Beth (George) Creek of St. Joseph; two step-sons, James (Kay) Brown of Hoopeston and Randy (Nancy) Brown of Danville; two step-daughters, Sharon Hayes of Danville and Mitzi Brown of Danville; two brothers-in-law, Leon (Bonnie) Brown of Danville and Donald (Adie) Brown of Terre Haute, Indiana; two sisters-in-law, Virginia (George) Davis of Cayuga, Indiana and Mary (Brad) Wickens of Covington, Indiana and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
