Grace was born in Hamilton, Ontario to Robert Henry Birnstihl and Jeannette Louise Ament 1902. Her father abandoned her mother . Is is not known if they were married. The same year her father marries another woman whom he also abandons. Grace was raised in the Snyder household with much love and sister to Annie.
Years later she comes to the states and reunites with her birth family. They were married nov 1930 in Ohio.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she was a resident of Wadsworth for 49 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Wadsworth, the church's Altar & Rosary Society, and the Wadsworth Lively Seniors.
She is survived by her son, Charles G., daughters, Ruth Adams, Jean Johnson; sister, Vi Gebhardt, 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services Tuesday, Hillard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, Wadsworth. A mass will follow at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial: Rittman Cemetery.
