Shane Scott Simmons was born November 4, 1972. A man of wisdom, strength, love, and great compassion died Nov. 25, 2010. He was a man who gave freely of his time, his talents, and his heart to devote his life to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and serving others. Although he faced great adversity in his life, he always did so without a complaint. His joy in life was to see others happy, and to love his family, his wife, and his children with everything in him. He is survived by his eternal companion, Lorraine, three children: Colton Scott Simmons, Caden Jim Simmons, Kylie Marie Simmons, parents Jim and Nancy Simmons, parents-in-law Jim and Theresa Petersen, brothers: Curtis (Wendy), Ron (Lisa), Clay (Cindy), Gary, sisters-in-law: Ruth (Joe) Liddell, Marie (Antione) Few and Rebekah Peterson. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Hillcrest Stake Center, 165 N. 350 W., American Fork, UT. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork, UT and Thursday from 9:45-10:45 at the church. Burial at American Fork Cemetery.
