Edison Giacomucci, 98 HMC Chief Petty Officer U.S. Navy Retired Edison Giacomucci, 98, of Broomall, died on November 29, 2010 at Chester County Hospital. He served in the Navy for 32 years and was a Veteran of W.W. II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Born 1912, in Scerni, Italy, he moved to Philadelphia in 1924 where he lived until moving to Broomall in 1976. He was a member of the Masons, an active member in the Fleet Reserve Assn. since 1976, and a member of St. Pius X Church in Broomall since 1977. He was the son of the late Giuseppina (nee Ranalli) and Luigi Giacomucci. Husband of 64 years to the late Thomasina (nee Mascia) Survivors: His daughters Cassandra Callaghan (Joseph) of West Chester, PA and Colette Taylor (Richard) of Haddonfield NJ; his grandchildren Joseph and Thomas Callaghan of West Chester, Alyce Taylor of Collingswood NJ and Alaine Hanchey (Mark) of Haddon Heights NJ; also his great-grandchildren Andrew Hanchey and Shawn Lammey. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday 7 to 9 PM and to his funeral on Saturday 9:30 AM at The D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
