Age 79 years, died Thursday, February 7, 2002 at Hines V.A. Hospital. Born in Gregory Point, Arkansas he has resided in the Joliet-Lockport area for 50 years. Retired from Material Service Corp. (1980). A U.S. Army Veteran (M.P.) of W.W.II. Preceded by his wife Bertha (Aug. 2001). Eight brothers and sisters and one daughter-in-law. He is survived by one daughter: Bertha (Johnnie) Robinson. Seven sons: Thedothis Lincoln of Lockport. Cleothis (Helen) Lincoln of Joliet, IL, Ozell (Ada) Lincoln of Joliet, King Lincoln III of Kansas City, MO. Robert L. (Karen) Lincoln of Thief River Falls, Minn., Terry L. Lincoln of Lockport, and Jerry L. (Dawn) Lincoln of Bolingbrook. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Three sisters: Katie Hollimon of Truman, ARK., Jimmie L. (James) Wortham and Louise Young both of L.A. Calif. Two brothers-in-law: Henry (Marilyn) Hammond and James Brown both of Joliet. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services Friday 8:00 p.m. at Prayer Tower Church. Rev. Warren Dorris Sr. officiating. Visitation Friday 2-5 p.m. at Range Funeral Home and 7-8 p.m. at the church. Interment with military honors Sat. 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL.
