She had typhoid fever when six months old that caused her to be an invalid all her life. After he father's death 36 years ago, she lived with her brother Mr. Z. A. Stephens until death. Her funeral was conducted by Eld. Sam S. Shuston of Kirkville. Her body was laid to rest in Stephens Cemetery.
