Son of Charles Eugene Doss and Martha Jane Franks-Doss.

E.H. Doss, died at his home here Sunday night of pneumonia which he contracted less than a week before. His illness was so short that few of the people accustomed to meeting him daily had not heard of it until the news of his death spread over town.


Edward Hendricks Doss was born in Sept. 1876 and was therefore in his 41st year. He was married to Miss Lucy Walker, April 1901, and they have five children living, Louise, Mary Virginia, Helen, Robert, and Charles Edward. His father, Judge C.E. Doss, of this city; and one brother, Frank M. Doss, of Evansville, survive him. Also three sisters, Mesdames Thomas Hearin, of Madisonville, J.R. Summerville, of this city and John Schrode, of Hope, Arkansas.

Died from Pneumonia.
