Alta Pearl was the only daughter of John F Day and Flora A Gray.

Married to Diaz Day on 20 Nov 1927 in Eden, Concho Co. TX

She had two sons and one daughter. Both sons are living.
Patricia Ann Day nee Casner (1932-2007)

Graduated from High School in Eden, TX. and Texas Christian Univ., Fort Worth, TX.

Began teaching in 1938 at Waldron, AR High School where she became the principal. In 1945 she returned to being a homemaker. In Heavener, OK, she assisted her husband in the family business of a drug store. Moving to Lubbock, TX, she continued to help manage their two drug stores, retiring in 1980. Abt 1984 she resided in a nursing home in Great Falls, MT where her youngest son, Dr. James L. Day was physician [psychiatrist}.
