Elizabeth Rose "Betty" Almond 86, passed away on July 7, 2010 at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

She was born in Martinez, CA, September 11, 1923. Elizabeth is survived by her brothers, Robert (Marilyn) Almond of Martinez, CA, James (Sharon) Almond of Rio Oso, CA; and her sister, Alice Maxey of Fresno, CA.

Elizabeth has numerous nieces and nephews who thought of her like a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, William Paul Nadeje, of Oroville, CA; her brother and sister-in-law, William and Nellie Almond of Mulino, Oregon; and her brother-in- law, James Maxey of Fresno, CA.

Elizabeth was an Escrow Officer in Martinez and Antioch, and eventually managed the Western Title Office in Antioch, CA.

There will be a Memorial Service at the home of Jim and Sharon Almond on Friday, July 23 for family and close friends. Please contact Jim or Sharon if you plan to attend (530) 633-2471.
