CONWAY_ Carl Wayne Shelley, 61, of the Oakey Swamp section of Horry County, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, at his residence.
Mr. Shelley was born in Horry County, a son of the late Herbert F. and Mazie Williamson Shelley.
He was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church.
Survivors include his companion, Martha Sue Smith of Conway; two daughters, Pamela Renee Smith of North Myrtle Beach and Lynn Shelley Caudle of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, James T. Shelley of Byron, Mich., and Herbert Steven Shelley of Longs; four sisters, Mary Francis Gore, Betty Annette Alford and Marsha Lynn Cribb, all of Conway, and Sylvia Jean Drew of Florence.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Juniper Bay Baptist Church, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
