She had several siblings: Jacob Dull (Anna, Sarah), Elizabeth Dull-Crom (John), Peter Dull (Susanna), Susanna Dull-Walters (Joseph), Sarah Dull-Ward (John), John Dull (Delilah), Catherine Dull-Rowland (John), Henry Dull, Martha Dull-Eckley (William), Hannah Dull-Rowland (Alexander), Farasin Dull, and George W. Dull. Margaret also had one 1/2 sister, Emma J. Dull-Harrington (Oliver).
On November 16, 1943, she married Alexander Cumingham Moorehead. Together they had four children: Samuel Moorehead, William H. Moorehead, Phillip C. Moorehead, and Hannah Moorehead. After the passing of her first husband, Margaret married Rheuphus (Rufus) W. Lawrence on November 27, 1856.
