After his first wife died Lay was sixty-three when he remarried on 31 Mar 1915 in Boone County, Arkansas to Victoria Bishop age forty-one. She was living in Three Brothers, Baxter County, Arkansas. She was born in Illinois Apr 1874. She was the widow of William A. Bishop and had had three children Effie B., Eliza and Jewel
