Services for Dewitt B. Roach, 88, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert George and Rev. A. C. Hoke officiating and burial in Berry Cemetery.
Mr. Roach, of Huntington, died Thursday morning in a Lufkin hospital. He was born in Trinity County and had been a resident of Angelina county most of his life. He was retired from construction and logging. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

* Sons: Norman R. of Mathis and Rev. Winston C. Roach of Breckenridge
* Brother: Belece of Arlington
* 11 grandchildren, including Jan and Jon Linzy of Lufkin
* 8 great-grandchildren
