Sarah E. Lambert, 82, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on November 26, 2010. Sarah was born July 24, 1928 to Ivory and Neva King Slater. She was born and raised in New Cambria, Missouri. Sarah was an operator at Helen's Beauty Shop in Brookfield, Missouri before working as lead baker for the Park Hill School District. She has been a member of Park Hill Christian Church for 57 years. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband, Clifford; 2 daughters, Sharon and husband, Don Perry and Janet and husband, Gary Thomas; 3 grandchildren, Brett Simpson, Cody Simpson and Matthew Perry; 1 great grandson, Saylor Simpson and 1 brother, Louis and wife, Tricia Slater. Visitation is 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 on Tuesday, November 30 at Park Hill Christian Church; 6601 NW 72nd St; Kansas City, MO. Burial at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.
